Laura Munyon, Esq. CIPP/US
Laura has always had a passion for the law and how it impacts people's day to day lives both in a personal and professional setting.
After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Criminal Justice, she pursued her law degree at Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. Following graduation, Laura moved back to New England where she began her legal career. The first years of her career were spent in Family Law and Estate Planning before making the leap to ATOM to focus on Data Privacy.
Laura is driven by a passion for making people's lives safer through law and technology and currently serves as ATOM's Human Privacy and Business Operations Associate. She works with our team to ensure that clients are in compliance with regulatory requirements and obligations. Laura also works with clients who come to us post-breach to determine the nature and scope of the incident and to coordinate with forensic investigators, regulatory agencies, law enforcement, and other third-parties to ensure that the incident is fully investigated and that the client's day to day business operations are interrupted as little as possible.
